Proyacht is a great place to work.

Our management encourages our senior boat builders to spend time teaching promising young talent, the skills they’ve developed over many years. Being a small company, everyone knows everyone, and we all work as a team for the greater good of the company.

New employees are always made welcome by the Proyacht crew. We generally work 40-45 hours per week but usually based over a four-and-a-half-day week; finishing earlier on Friday afternoons. Depending on preferences, Proyacht can offer a flexible range of employment options, and we are always keen to hear from exceptionally talented and skilled boat builders who are up for a good challenge and employment security. BOAT BUILDER/SHIPWRIGHT

Proyacht specialises in motor-yacht re-fits and maintenance on the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia. We are now seeking a trade qualified boat builder/shipwright to join
our team.

You’ll be working across a broad range of high value private vessels. You will be a well-mannered person who feels ‘at home’ working in our fully equipped work/machine shop, and on boats around the marina and on the water.

Being a hardworking and committed professional, you will quickly become a valued member of our team, and your renumeration will be reflected in this long-term, full-time role.

We are now seeking a senior marine painter who is energetic and experienced in all aspects of the trade to join our existing team. Your projects will have variety and be challenging, and will include anything from small boats to large motor-yachts and sailing yachts.

The Marina facility closest to where I live had let me down twice and I wasn't giving them a third chance. 					First time I've used Proyacht and I was very impressed. Compared to some other providers in the yard I've used over the past 4 years, they're like a breath of fresh air.  Steve and Scott are professional and old school. They even offered to reduce their rate for a part of the job which took a little longer than expected due to an issue with getting a part from a supplier and I feel I got a very fair outcome. No arguments, no hassles, just an honest approach. All in all I got a great service for a great price and I'm a very happy customer. Will definitely use them again.
